Dealing with apps for everything. They’re handy at times. Aggravating at others. It aggravates me knowing that I’m doing all their work for them. Like self check out, don’t care for that either. Everything online now, gotta get the app. Seems everyone wants steady revenue, without effort. Had a couple loads this week with Tracking. Got 5 phone calls from 5 different agents, wanting updates anyway. Between them and the spam phone calls and text messages. Rather do my thing and be left alone. The Governments the worst. Collect the fines and fees, without any human contact or recourse. Dream come true.

Anytime someone directs me to visit a self-serve website I just say I can't do it. Don't have internet.

I still make the government send me paper copies of stuff as well, just as a #### you to them.

I don't think you have any idea how slick a data scientist is with ethical workarounds to get what they need. Anyway, this is large company talk. I was told I needed to surround myself with data scientists, so I did.

    Vampire Thanks this.

I work food delivery, reefers, just had a knee surgery. The only drivers that work as hard as I do are the flat deck operators who tarp their loads in the rain and snow. I unload trailers with a ramp and a hand cart. 3 years ago I had another operation for 2 hernias. Do you know what that is? I worked the whole pandemic just like most of you.

Siinman and Diesel Dave Thank this.

I do skateboarding, my son does food services. Again, why are you considered the Dr, of Big Rigs ? Seems your knowledge is more “Scientific” stuff from your posts…….

Diesel Dave, this was a name that I registered in 2008 when I got my own truck. I always wanted to serve the trucking community but not always as a truck driver. Kind of like all the different sites we use online related to them, I want to create a community of my own so I read and study when I am not driving. I start reading in 2011 every day 30 minutes a day. I know AI very well, use it in my own business. Logistics is important so I plan on reading Jeff Bezos next, the owner of Amazon Prime. Good guy to learn from for industry tech, logistics and marketing. There you have it, I own the domain for DrBigRig but it currently points to a very small group on fb. Having done anything with it yet.

Ok, after two decades dealing with data, I have heard a couple dozen terms used from data mining specialists to data analysis to the guy name Frank who knows how to code but what the hell is a data scientist?
