You telling me that your boy at TQL will pay $1.50 on a back haul from SouthEast going West?? Maybe if you run around all over for 30 day you could average more. I am talking about straight run 7-8 days. over 5k on miles.

I know exactly how much it is cost to maintain equipment and everything else. I am not trying to start dispatch service here. I am just trying to get few owner operators who would move my overflow.

Nobody will touch that freight with their own authority average all my customers running right now is 1.70 and thats still low but it is what it is. Good Try but highly doubt you will find someone here with these kind of rate.

I am actually not looking for anyone here. I was asking what would be a good offer to an Owner operator, and $1.50 was just a starting point to start discussion.

What you are looking for looks like someone with own company and authority to get loads from you so you are just trying to broker a load out or the excess loads you have from what it sound like. Correct me if im wrong but unless you have a brokers license i didn't know what you could double broker a load

1.50 is not even close to a talking point. At least not to smart and business savvy O/O's.

I have overflow because, I don't have enough of my trucks to cover the freight that I have.
Who are all these people that haul freight for barely a dollar a mile. Some one is moving it, thats why rates are ####!

I have ru 1998 miles this week and $7150 and you want to embarrass yourself by offering $1.50 .
That's like saying your mother was two bit ##### and that was over paying.
