Did he get hit or did he hit someone. If he hit someone I think only a real big company like Swift for example, their insurance could cover him.

Just curious, what are the tractors at Ozark? 10 speeds or ? What is the closest drop yard or terminal toward Clarksville or Nashville? Do they start out paying pretty good per mile and would I at least get 2500 miles a week? Thanks in advance for any info!

Recruiter told me last week that they average 2200-2500 miles per week and they start a new driver at .35cpm. They have a 4 week program for new CDL holders where you are paid .145 cpm while riding with a trainer. Don't know too much about their equipment.

Thanks for the info. Wish they paid a little bit more in training though.

I've got one of the last volvos. It's a '10. Not a bad truck. Over 5ook miles on it. New guys get freightliner Columbias (I've seen '08 and newer) and the "older guys" get cascadias. Everything Ozark runs is a 10spd and all the trucks have APUs. Those cascadias are nice. And from what I've seen in my short time here there are 2 kinda loads... FedEx or 44ooo lbs. And you really have to have no issues at all driving at night. Okay not every load fits into those 2 but honestly most will. I'm really happy here. I'd say 2250-2500 would be your average for the week with miles. Last week I sat for a day and a half because of that Dallas ice storm and I'll still finished the week out with 2300.
twistedsmoke and Sojourn14 Thank this. -
