He was driving for Swift - intermodal division

 

He got ticketed for "failure to maintain speed" and he was terminated.

 

Tell him to call recruiting and talk to Ron. They could discuss it and let Safety decide.

 

I am pretty sure that would keep him from getting hired there. I had a friend ticketed for less and he was turned down. And he wasn't terminated from his current job. Good luck in the job search though. Someone will likely give him another chance.

 

Looks like I will not be applying to Ozark after all.

1) I spoke to Ron just before Christmas, and he told me there are no trainers in my area at this time that can take a female trainee b/c of jealous wives. (not his exact words, but that is the jist of it) Kinda made me mad because I'm not interested in an affair; I'm interested in trucking. I'm a middle-aged woman who does not waste time with foolishness.

2) The recruiter that was supposed to come to the school cancelled. Our instructor was told Ozark is no longer recruiting in this area.

So, at this point, looks like it would be a waste of time to apply. Oh well, moving on.....

any questions about millis send my way. went through their school in april as a raw recruit. no experiece at all and been in my own truck for 7 months now. got here because i saw an ozark truck on the road and doing some research. might be looking to change companies but really have nothing bad to say about millis. just looking for a little better pay if i can find it.
