Are you on elogs? I have 8 months experience in the last three years. I haven't driven in a little while. Are they pretty strict on the road test? Is the motel in a good part of town? Thanks!

Yea im on elogs. Roadtest was basicly shifting across the parking lot and then doing the backing. The motel is a suite in a pretty good area it has full size refridgerator, microwave and coffee pot.

They have alot of new cascadias. The apu is pretty nice. They are all thermoking tripac units and we have the espar bunk heaters also. All trucks have 1500w inverters also. The cascadias have the mcp100 also. They do give routing and directions to all pu/drops. You can change routing if you can prove its shorter/faster. I use my atlas just to get across country and my pcmiler gps when I get to the city im delivering.

Thank you flatbedn! Is it true the trucks are low end like no power windows and really basic? And is the routing and directions they give you pretty accurate? Thanks again! I'm really considering going there. Any other tips or information about them I should know? Positives and negatives? Thanks again for your help!

Now the columbias are basic trucks. I have a colubia for now and they have no power windows. We do have cd players with aux ports and stuff of the sort. The cascadias have power windows and all aluminum wheels. The routing and directions are generally good being they are from previous drivers going there so usually dead on.

As far as tips to make it here, just try to work with your fleet manager and help them and they will help you. I make good money here where alot of people complain and they dont run as hard.

I seen where someone said if you have to take a 34 hour reset on the road, that it counts toward your hometime. Is that really true? That would be crazy!

Not true at all. I get home when I request even if I do a 34 hour restart 2 days before. They are pretty good about giving your hometime. Other companies I have had to fight with to get home, 3 months going on 4 and I have been home every other weekend.

What are the trucks governed at? Are they automatics or 10spds?
