Good deal. I'd love to be a feeder driver and proudly wear brown. I went to a tech school where all of the range/road guys that were training us were retired UPS. I have them all as references. Issue is I have no experience. And I never see job postings on the UPS website for feeder drivers. Everything in the Atlanta area is for TFI. Who would of thought that with UPS being head quartered here and them having the smart hub in NW Atlanta.

I am more than happy to put in experience at YRC or elsewhere to get my foot in the door but as I said before I think long term.

It's kind of surprising that they filled all the feeder positions for that super hub they opened in Atlanta. At the very least, get your experience and your application on file. Maybe they'll call you one day out of the blue.

What position do you apply for if they aren't currently advertising for feeder in your area? I do remember the retired UPS trainers at the tech school said to apply at the hub instead of online.

If you can't get to the hub in person, starting in October they will put up jobs for seasonal feeder positions. If you put your application in during that time, you would be eligible for any future full-time hirings, if they do them.

I can get to the hub. I can go tomorrow afternoon. I just don't know what to apply for if there are no current feeder positions being as listed. Guess I'll need to wait until some are listed, or like you said October when they start listing seasonal positions.
