I can say this much about P&S...I'm now on my second major, work loss injury with P&S. And they have done absolutely everything asked to keep me stress free while I heal.

My first injury was a torn ligament in my right wrist. Out of the truck for 4.5 months. Every piece of paperwork and bit of bureaucratic crap was dealt with immediately upon request, and I came back to my choice of truck.

This injury is a back issue. Again, zero stress. THEY check in with ME every once in a while to make sure I'm still doing ok. Zero pressure to return to work before I'm ready. And my job is being held for me. They know and understand I'm looking a a year and a half if not more this time, too.

P&S really does try to take care of their drivers. I'm considering buying another truck and signing it on with them if I recover sufficiently to return to flatbedding. Only because I'm been both a company driver and an O/O now, and I much prefer being an O/O.

Your testimony sounds a lot like a friend of mine who works there. He's tried to leave them multiple times and he's on his 3rd or 4th stint with them. I felt he should've never left there even the first time. They seem to really take care of their drivers. While I often say companies are pretty much the same, companies that genuinely care for their drivers are diamonds in the rough and drivers sometimes fail to recognize those companies.
