I was almost starting to want to see this through until she posted the college degree! OOPs a freaking lawyer!
I guess we don't need to go any further!
We already know where it's heading!
Let's hope her hero isn't Shirley Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church!
The OP might want to just never come back in under their old name and not even hit their profile either so as not to leave any data trail!

She may be intelligent she may have gone to law school but there is no way she finished law school with her grammer. She also claims that CDL exams were written in foreign langauges, they weren't/aren't at least in Il., it's contrary to federal regs.
I'm from Il. I watched first hand Euros come into Elk Groves facility with one english speaker who translated the test to the wannabe drivers, I asked the counter dude if that was legal he said no, he was doing what he was told. That was during Geo. Ryans admin who was the former Sec'y of State, he went to prison for the CDL scandal back in the 90's, people died because of the license for sale scandal.
She also sidestepped most of my remarks, although she did in her second to last post admit that Euros "bend" the rules, lol. She couldn't argue the immigrant thing effectively as she knows I'm right about that as well, I'm from that area I know a lot of those co's, my bros. co. leases office/shop space to clowns like PTH. They're a hoot to watch around the shop, their 'mechanics' are a danger to themselves and anyone around them. The owner regularly abuses the immigrant drivers which pizzes me off to no end.
This business of her being a consultant is sketchy to me, she most likely is teaching incoming immigrants with their own authority the ins and outs of the transportaion biz, I find it hard to believe she works for any reputable co's as an consultant.
Either way, I don't think she'll be back but if she does I'll be civil, I'll hold her feet to the fire but I will be civil.canuck in da truck Thanks this. -
She has answered before to other drivers and also has stated here that she would rather not use a forum such as this to advertise for her company, something that one would think is commendable, some not...
In fairness to her, I would submit that while being attacked as she was I might not be in the best frame of mind to respond to every question that was asked.
I'm not here to judge or be judged so please don't attack me for responding, but Canuck I believe her answer was all 48 states for O/O's as well as drivers.
Good Luck either way!!canuck in da truck Thanks this. -

Now let's see, I speak and write in 6 languages. You are correct I have one more year in Law school. I work with one of the most respected law firms in the Chicago area who's part owner is a Judge at Circuit Court of Cook County. I come from educated parents, my father was an air force pilot and my mother is a teacher. I came in this country when I was 14y old and at 17 I lost my father to Lung Cancer. I had to deal with his 4 trucks and I learned things the hard way. At age 29 I almost have a law degree, I have many certificates as I told you before and I have seen more BS than you will see for the rest of your life. I also have my own business which is my consulting company and I work with over 20 companies in the IL area. My Expertise includes accident investigation, driver qualifications, safety programs and industry standards of the trucking industry. I have served as expert witness in state and federal courts, and assisted in case preparation and developing areas of the trucking industry not usually considered by many attorneys, especially with regard to industry standards and common safety and industry practices. And that is a small part of my resume ! What are your accomplishments... Let me take a wild guess you are about 50y old.
Learn some manners Sir! Publish your MC lets see how lawful your company is, at least I am straight forward and I don't hide a thing. Or you are one of those men, who feels confident when he hides behind a nick name, a tough one when none of his personal staff is revealed.
Now on the subject. 1998 I was at a Secretary of State location with a driver when they asked him in which language he wants to take the exam. Don't get me wrong my reaction was the same.. " Is this legal?" the person behind the counter said YES. 1999 a driver called me and ask me to translate for him at his pre-trip exam and I did..., and for some unknown to me reason that was OK too. I speak out of experience I never lie nor bend the truth. Now about all those things you are accusing me of such as stupidity, poor grammar etc.. I will have you know Sir that when I talk to drivers I try to use simple words, simple/street grammar hoping that it will get through their heads but unfortunately that is not the case with you. That is even hard for you to understand! You bend my words as you like and you spit insults all over your posts. I find it unnecessary to even respond to you since your posts are basically the same with a bit of a different wording in them.Last edited: Apr 29, 2011

PPL take a chill pill. You are attacking me like vultures. I never said that I hired that None EN speaking driver, or that it is OK. And YES they are violations, and YES drivers did violate State and Federal laws, and NO it is not OK, but they got punished for that. Rome was not built for a day and PTH's staff is working hard on improving their operations. We don't allow violations, and even with the high penalties there are drivers that still violate laws. And than we fire them, and 2h later we receive a prev em. request for them... It's not hard for a bad driver to find a job thees days! And YES PTH's co's tolerate the drivers more than I would like to, but you have to understand that they use to be drivers and put them selves in the driver's shoes sometimes. And for a second time for all of you who have smth against European drivers we employee American, European, Kenyans, Nigerian, Mexican, etc. We have a bit of everything sort of speak. Those are different work habits, different cultures, different everything .., we try as hard as possible to teach them our way.., The legal way.., some get it some don't. We also have O/o's from all over the world and all over the states there is no discrimination with us. There are good and bad drivers from every point of the world. It is much easier to make the drivers follow the rules than the O/o's. A lot of them come from places where safety is not the major concern and have adopted as a work habit to do what ever they want with no regard of the rules. Each one is given an orientation, each one signs all the rules, each one supposedly understand everything and promises to do things as we told him to. Each one receives a copy of the rule book, fines, charges, bonuses etc. With some things work out perfectly, with other after a few weeks being legal on the roads things change and they go back to their old habits. Than we start charging fines..., if things don't improve we cancel their leases. And again don't get me wrong, we also have good O/o's and good drivers, some of them have been with us for over 5/6y. There are different ppl out there, some like to follow rules, some don't. PTH's safety is doing the best he can to improve things and the new CSA is helping a lot
You should also understand that drivers don't walk in to my office with a sign " I DON'T LIKE RULES, I BEND THE LAW, I DON'T KEEP LOGS, and most companies don't bother to mention that on those prev. emp. verifications. And again before you attack me I am not saying that is OK, but the staff is working hard every day to improve the operations, I am not saying we are not at fault at all but we do everything by the book and try to stay on top of things. PTH is here to stay and it's growing every day, improvements and changes are made every day and no one is trying to make an easy buck because the owners know the price they will have to pay at the end.

Even thou I am attacked like I am Osama's best friend they are a few ppl I enjoy talking to in this forum.
At 1st wen I read this posting I.e. PTH bouncing checks etc..., I got mad. Not because some one wrote it, but because this person claims that he worked for us. I know this company as I know the back of my hand. I know how naive my bosses get sometimes and how they try to help everyone that comes and asks them for money every time they have a problem, and how they don't see those money back most of the time. I know all the crazy things I've been through because of drivers or O/o's and it makes me mad when some one says such harsh and untrue things.
I belie it was 2y ago, when a big ice storm hit MO and AR. An o/o got in to a very bad accident because of the ice and another vehicle that was involved . He had a punctured disk and a bunch of other staff. He had no family here and the doctors said that the best way for him to be brought back to Chicago is by a car because it will be more comfortable and it will hurt him less or with medical transportation that would have coast a small fortune. As most Europeans he had no insurance but our Oc/ac. He was refusing even that but he had no choice since that is a requirement for us. Any how.., my boss asked me to drive to there and to pick him up from the hospital and bring him back to Chicago. And I did. I drove on ice for miles, with lose wires on the roads, with no electricity almost end up with out gas because all gas stations were closed because of the power outage. Funny thing almost got arrested in MO for being out on the road after sun down. There was emergency at that part of the state and no one was allowed on the streets. Well after explaining to the officers the point of my journey they told me that I have to find a hotel until sun rise no matter what. Everything was full, MO and AR had brought workers from out of the state to help out. The ppl had even left their houses because of the electricity problem and stayed in hotels that had generators. Any how I found a Motel8 with a vacancy that coast me 300$ for a few hours. In the morning I went picked him up, drove him to Chicago. Since he had no relatives, and his whole back was put in a cast my boss offered him to stay at his house. Took care of him, drove him to the doctors app, went trough the whole rehab with him. The Oc/ac insurance paid for everything and was giving him $600 per week. I am not aware if they wanted to settle with a lamb sum or not but as soon as he got better he left his hose without out even saying good buy. In the mean time, our insurance paid for the composition, and the freight, my boss paid all deductibles out of his pocket and never even mention anything to him about that. Once our O/O left the house.., actually about a month later we received court papers. He was suing us WC. Smth he is not eligible for. On my question why the answer was Q" PTH has made money from my accident and now it's my turn, ppl tell me that I should get at least a million" Of course he lost the case, because he had no grounds for WC benefits. He worked for his own company and was sub contracted with us. Well we paid about 7G for attorneys since a company can not represent it self. To make this story short, that person, after being told by many doctors that he should not be driving a truck because a big pothole may leave him handicapped for the rest of his life, is still a driver.( NOT WITH US) He has the eyes to come in to our office and talk to the owners like nothing happen, he asks them for favors, he is even renting a parking spot from them..,and they are OK with it The reason I told you this story is because earlier in this massage I said that my bosses are naive sometimes. That is how I see it. They treated him like their best friend and were even willing to give him some job inside the office and he went behind their backs a sued them..., this I don't understand. It's not fair in my book. And when I confronted my boss for being too friendly with him and for doing him small favors he turned around and said : Nataly in this life the best revenge is forgiveness.
Oh well, greediness is a feeling I don't know, and hopefully I will never learn. This O/o is still getting money from that insurance $600 a week and it wasn't enough...
Sorry about this little story, I am just trying to explain why I am defending this company, and why I know for a fact that things are not as truckingwithmama ( or whatever his name is ) stated. This is not my company and as an employee I should not care what ppl say or write, but I know thees ppl as good as I know my family, and I know that they are genuine, honest and hard working men and they will never do such thing. And I can say honestly that half of those scores are their fault, because ppl take advantage of their generosity and abuse the chances they are given by them.Last edited: Apr 29, 2011

And canuck in da truck, i am sorry I did not see your post.
We go to all 48th states and to Canada. Unfortunately we don't have any availabilities at the moment but the owners are planning on getting 5 new Volvo's sometimes next month. Contact me on pm and I will answer any questions you may have. And again I am sorry but I am being attacked from way to many sides here and some how i missed your posting.Last edited: Apr 29, 2011
canuck in da truck Thanks this. -
I responded because one of my dispatchers showed me this post. I got curious and some what mad and browsed through the forum and this particular topic. I got even more curious at who this driver might be, because no one has left or has been fired from the company for a long time. ( I am talking about our drivers not about the o/o's.) Than if you read my previous posts I said that this person might of been a driver for an O/O and if his check has bounced I cant help him even if I want to. I said that because we have recently told an O/o to change the drivers or move his truck some place else. Details are in previous posts. Any how.., to make the long story short I got attacked from almost every one that visits this forum. It's in my nature to defend my self ( which is a bit hard to say since I am just stating my point of view while being insulted and called names by some very educated members of this forum) Yes we are not perfect but we are not as bad as most ppl here try to prove.
Have a nice night and I hope this answers your question!Last edited: Apr 29, 2011
