You won't get a job, your CDL is practically worthless now that you've gotten a DUI.
-
if you have an active physical prior to the suspension, and its 2 year time period does not expire during the suspension, then it should still be valid after the suspension. The state will only revoke your CDL for not having a physical if you let it expire. You could get your physical early, prior to the expiration date and the suspension.

If the state "suspends" your CDL for no current physical on file, it will be re-instated when you renew your physical, up to 1 year. If it goes beyond a year, you start from scratch and take all the tests again, including the driving test. Your situation is a bit difficult since you're awaiting sentencing on a DUI charge and if convicted, as you say, the feds will suspend your CDL for a year. However, I'm not so sure that's accurate info. Your CDL is issued by the state, not the feds.

Did you have an attorney? This seems high for a first time DUI. Just asking.

Go get physical update send it in see what happens but no one will hire for at 3 yes most likely 5 yes

If you did not get a new physical before the current one expired or you neglected to send in a new self certification form for that new physical Pa will take your CDL and revert it back to a regular class C license. The only way to get your CDL back is to retest both written and driving.

Cover your self and renew your physical before it expires

if you got a dui you may as will let the phy go until you get the cdls you are probably looking at no one hireing you with that dui for the next 3 to 5 years

This happened to me when I left trucking ( no DUI just took a desk job) anyway let my physical go past. Got a letter saying suspended cdl until physical updated. Well waited whatever the time was still didn't get it and whamm revoked. So I went down got a normal license cause I wasn't worried had a desk job. Decided I wanted back in trucking had to go retake my test get a permit get a physical find a truck to retake my driving test (300 dollars for use of a truck) and botta bing botta boom got my cdl back.
