PA Hazmat 9 mos.

    I went to CDL school and I got my CDL in Nov. with hazmat. I just got a letter from Pendot that I have to redo my Hazmat test when my licence gets renewed on Aug. I will only have it 9 mos in Aug. does that sound right to you guys???

    When your license is up for renewal in Pa you have to renew your hazmat. That seems odd you just received it and are already up. When you renew it is good for 4 years. Were the endorsements just added to your existing license? If that's the case, you would have to renew the hazmat and all the junk that goes with it before you expire.

    In OHIO if you have to renew your haz you have to be fingerprinted again.might want to check because that takes time.Im letting mine go this week

    Seems logical in a government type way of thinking.

    Driver license renewal date was not changed, just the license status.

    Did you pay the fees for Hazmat and now have to pay, and wait for the approvals, again, so soon?

    Things like that make others thankful for your posts, so they know how to work the system. So they do not have to re-pay after only a few months...
