PA hazmat fingerprints renewal

    I completely forgot my hazmat endorsement expires November 1. I passed recertification test a while ago and failed to do fingerprints until today. I am clean as a whistle, this would be my 2nd renewal. What are you guys’ experience with response time from TSA to PA DMV and can I work until hazmat approval comes in, I’m in LTL linehaul

    My last renewal the approval email came through within hours. You’re legally good to drive right up until it expires, but your company might have a more strict policy.

    Mine requires us to turn in our new license or med card at least a week before it expires to give them time to send it up to corporate and get the system updated. Can’t remember how they handle it if it’s just hazmat expired but the rest of the license is still valid.
