For a pretty crappy road at that. Man, tolls are no fun, but I expect that the road be in better condition than the average free road.

The road is better than it used to be but the annually increases probably because the traffic decreases. If use the turnpike anymore it may only be where 70 runs with it.

I love Trucking in Pa, it’s a market of its own like Texas or Cali, but plenty of open deck freight & cool summer nights. Haven’t touched I-76 in almost 10 years. Lots of good roads to get around on. To hell with Philadelphia

At least there are not that many scales to worry about. Ha Ha! and that comes with a price.

This is all due to PA act 44, which requires the Turnpike to pay Penndot $450 million a year, in order to balance Penndot's out of control waste. Thanks, Ed Spendell!
What was really funny was when Fast Eddie wanted to make I-80 a toll road from Ohio to NJ. Billions were spent on upgrading the road, only to have the Feds deny the plan for tolls numerous times. But, hey, last time I traveled I-80 it was smooth!Big_D409 and whoopNride Thank this. -
