u should try to get a tune from mr.haney. I hear he is good for good mpg and hp. I will most likely use him when I'll get my semi.

i had a T200 and loved it even thou it was on the heavy side, i had the 13 spd and had from the time it was new till 400k on the clock, my mpg pulling a van was 6.8 but if i could of standed to drive it at 55mph all the time 8 was very easy to get but ran hard at any speed... i had the cummins 400 ST and it also pulled hard down in the low rpms mine was quite even in heavy wind so i think his rubber seals may need replaced... but that is my .02...

as for the turning radius it is not as good as the volvo but the ride is better and the truck is longer so... if you can find one with a locker in one of the axels you will be set i can't beleive the difference it made in getting around in the snow good luck

yeah, i still have the weight ticket from the first time i weight it with a quater tank of fuel ( i have dual 150gal) and it was 19200lbs,
    steer 10940
drives 8260 with about 75gal of fuel total.

with my all steel flatbed it's 31660
    steer 11229
    drives 11940
trailer 8500 also with about 75gal of fuel total. and i dont carry alot of gear. two 3/8 chains, two binders, 18 straps, 4 4x4's 12 2x4's and some 2x3's. the max i can load with full tanks is 47000. anything else and i'm doing the fuel bunny hop.

yeah, most loads are less then 48k... most brokers refer to 48k as being heavy, and it's usually lumber or something reguarding wood.. a couple of days ago i hauled six 15k lbs coils of "post tension cable" and grossed out at 73k. in order for me to haul 85k i just run with a half of tank of fuel (150gal) and i'm good.

Mr Haney is excellent at what he does, I'm still tickled with the tune he did for me eight months later, but he only works on Cats.

well, my agent that I wanted to work with is not taking anymore ppl. So, I've found somebody else, a broker/agent who hauls vans and ref's. So I might as well go with him. he pays every week, as long as a B.O.L is in his hands by tuesday or wed.

what are the current average load pay with and without fuels surcharge?

i dont know about the van/reefer. i'm not too sure what they normally gross at. not really sure how much a van weighs either. and Vinton, La sucks for sprint 3g coverage.
