Will DOT bust my balls if I'll install HID lights on the truck?

looks jus like mines on the inside, just cleaner and with less gauges.. good news is that adding gauges is easy because all of the wire harnesses are already back there and labeled.. you just have to buy the gauges from kenworth and plug them in.. and you may want to look up the specs for that suspension.. i think it's the lighter version.. and good luck finding somewhere to put an apu.. i've been looking at T2000's in parking lots to see where they have their apu's mounted, and it seems like you have to remove a fairing to install one.. i'm kinda attached to my fairing so i think i'll mount it between the frame rails on my flatbed and just run power to the truck.

Thats a good point too, I was thinking about as well. But then a good sleeping bag should do it. lol.

I like gauges too, sometimes the more the merrier. sometimes you don't want to look at them, If you know what I mean. he he.

Magnum, I tried to reply to your PM, but your box is full. I think PDI and Bully Dog are your only options for non-dealer tuning, but you might contact Mr Haney, I think he has a buddy that is familiar with PDI's Cummins tuning options.

thanks. I just cleaned my inbox. My only thought about the isx in that truck. If i'll end up getting it, i would want to get rid of the egr valve and up the mpg along w/hp-ft.tq.

If you search for threads by Cowpie1 on here, he's totally blocked off his EGR with very good results.
Magnum1 Thanks this. -
thats a clean looking truck... looks like a Central Refer O/O truck that they turned in after the lease was up...'
as for the apu the CARRIER one will fit behind the faring on the passenger side.. you will have to remove the faring to service it but thats really not that big of a deal...
if you decide to put fog lights onit as it is prewired im sure, the dealer is very exspensive what i did was get a set of 6" round PIAA's the fowl weather seriers and ran them they bolt in place with no modifications and worked awesome -
Magnum1 Thanks this.
