fiberglass.
-
fiberglass is good, lightweight. correct?
-
not sure of that.. i know it's layered pretty thick, so i doubt it's lighter then a thin sheet of metal. they probably make them out of fiberglass because it's cheaper, and easier to mold a fiberglass hood, then bend a sheet of metal into the form of a hood.

Installing REAL HID headlights is quite a project... takes a whole lot of wiring changes. Now those 'fake' HID would be easier... I hate 'em both to be honest.
That red T2 looks like an ex-CFI truck. When dealing with Arrow be aware that you can negotiate about $10G's off their asking price... if they won't budge go elsewhere as they are always overpriced.Magnum1 Thanks this. -

Most of the dark blue T2000s are ex Stevens fleet. Training trucks, so check the trans and clutch closely.

I hate being a neewbie - lol. Every where I look, I'm told that t2k and 387 SUCK.
How's the trucking industry so far? -
Neither one sucks or major fleets wouldn't be using them. It is all driver preference, you are asking truckers an open question so expect 1000 different answers. If you like the trucks, they have service history, a warranty, decent miles, have an independant mechanic check them out and if you like how they drive then pick what you want.
You could buy a used KW900, Pete 379, etc, and they could be crap also, depends on miles and history.Last edited: Jan 13, 2011
