There's a couple different microns on the Paccar frame mounted filter, make sure that the correct one is installed. Our MX-13's came with a K37-1004 (which is rated at 10 micron), but Paccar recently changed the spec to a K37-1009 filter (30 micron).
We used to have an issue with the primary filter plugging up early, since we changed to the 30 micron primary filters, they both go 15,000 miles (our oil changes) without issues.

They are notorious for hating bio diesel. It plugs em up about every month.
-
I agree that it may be the fuel
Also
Do you idle much?
And even if it’s done this since bee wouldn’t mean the tanks still didn’t get dirty or even that algae that can start to grow in fuel -
I now own a pacar but never have before. I do know that bio diesel is not great for fuel filters. Many complaints for many years.
I had a 08 pete that ran like crap on it and plugged up filters.
One cascadia did not like it but the dd15 did not mind.
A watched a video on pacars. The guy said that he changes his pacar filter every month because they plug up from bio. I forgot what filters do not plug up from it.GYPSY65 Thanks this. -
My epa 10 Paccar in a 13 kw 660 hated biodiesel. Thankfully for 800k miles I rarely had to run that garbage. Easily go 30k on
Filters. Run a few tanks of biodiesel #### and they would plug.markk Thanks this. -
I am going to try and find a good aftermarket filter. Inoticed the pacarfilter was about 80 bucks. That's insane. I saw a o'reilly auto parts filter for 40 I think it was.
Straight fuel is getting hard to find. Trex has it. But I think they are only in Mo. -
I watched a video and the guy showed why it would not fill up. Might be same issue. After pulling filter there is a plastic valve poked down in the top of the the tube inside the filter holder, whatever it is called , the part attached to truck not the cover part. He used a small driver to pry it out. Pulled off the rubber cap and it is a plastic ball in a plastic valve. Gets dirty and stuck. Yours might be sticking open

Can get Napa gold which is same as wix
Filters, I did same thing I ordered by the case.
Water separator Baldwin, Donaldson, all make aftermarket filters. Key is keep an eye on micron rating. Try to stay as close as possible to factory micron rating. Paccar will deny a fuel related warranty in a heart beat if filters are sub quality and or wrong micron rating. Just a word of advice. Happy trailsmarkk Thanks this. -
####, even napa is pricey. 50 bucks. That adds up in a year.
Beginni g to wonder if I can make a living. 2k truck payment. 10k insurance. 1k trailer rental. 50 a month for filter.
Good thing fuel is only a buck 27 a gallon ! -
Im not 100% but I think Napa has a huge discount once or twice a year
Like maybe 1/2 price ??markk Thanks this.
