Hello everyone! Title says it all, squealing noise coming from the engine when I use engine brake. Started around 3 months ago, getting worse. Peterbilt dealrship mechanics could not find anything. Link to youtube video is here -

I could not hear the specific noise from your video. You likely have an exhaust leak. Have the intake and exhaust system pressure tested or smoke tested to identify the leak.

Check the back pressure valve. Seem to be a common problem on EPA13

How do I check that thing? It moves a little while idling. Not sure what else it should do, and shouldn't do.

bump your rpms up with the cruise. as soon as your fan kicks on it will move that back pressure valve and it will either stop making the noise or make it worse if its the BPV

Check for soot around the slip joints on the exhaust manifold as they leak, also egr valve and all the gaskets.
