Paccar MX13 Eaton auto comments.

    If it’s EPA ‘15 or later then the engine will be decent. It will be the updated version. But if they did nothing with the emission stuff I wouldn’t touch it, especially if it was running a blower. If it’s had emission work and a crate motor then I’d give it some thought. My last Paccar had 600k on it when I sold it two years ago and it’s still running around here hauling milk. Current Paccar just turned over 240k last week. I’d order another one in a heart beat, but I wouldn’t consider a used one without seeing every service record for it.

    From what I can tell.
    The 2018 truck I'm running now was purchased with 435k miles. It has almost 700k now. And shows no signs of wearing out.

    I wouldn't be afraid to own one.

    I would however, prefer to never have an automatic. Don't ever try to make a turn in traffic unless you've got the spacing between traffic. They're very slow off the line and don't like making turns if you need to romp on it.

    Paccar products. You have 2 choices. Cummins or mx. Or the rare breed if you're lucky to find one with a Detroit.

    I'm impressed with the mx so far. It's been the most reliable motor I've driven.

    BTW. 700K and it looks brand new too. But I have no idea if the motor was crated before the 435k miles purchase.

    I have no info yet on the emission system, but the engine is BRAND NEW, top to bottom out of a crate. I'll see what else has been done hopefully this week.
