    I had a 2011 T660 with a EPA10 MX13 I am looking at a 2013 T660 with MX13. Are both engines EPA10 or is the 2013 a EPA12

    My last T660 was a POS with emission issues but I don't know if they resolved them by the 2012 engine.

    Constant software issues, doser and doc needed to be replaced, had DPF baked and replaced, dropped 2 injectors, wouldn't regen, EGR valve went out twice, I had the truck less than a year put 40,000 miles on it and spent close to $80k keep it running. The final straw was when I was coming off a mountain and lost my throttle pedal. I couldn't rev the engine to get it back into gear and shot out through a field at 90 mph. Tow bill was $3,500 because the nearest KW dealer was in Albuquerque

    There is only EPA10,13,17 engines. Last 8 digits will show us what you have for sure. Changes from 10 to 13 included commonrail fuel injection, electronic egr and bpv valves, high mount egr cooler for starters.

    Any used neglected truck could be plagued with expensive problems to break an owner quick. Best bet it do your research on previous owner and previous repair history will tell a story. Have someone go through the truck that knows the product to give you an overall health status to help keep surprizes to a minimum.
