so nearly 1.5 months to wait, just for the dang letter..??

and how many months afterwards will the "repairs" happen..??

seems to me, the lawyers will eat this up in accident cases.

Thank you, Thank you for posting this.

My new digital dash is a fluffin nightmare. Been complaining about the dash freezing up for months and just get a blank stare from the dealerships.
Everything will freeze up and you have to pull over and shut everything off and restart.

Fuel gages stuck on full is a real treat too.

I hate to say it but I will swallow my pride and admit it. Paccar products are poop. Just figured my 21 389 was an anomaly with all its problems..Nope, the 23 is equally plagued with problems.

Absolutely no quality control. Window switches that won’t last but a couple months and they’ve known about it for years.

Jake doesn’t kick on if the truck goes 4mph over set cruise speed..my 21 did.

Thanks again, now maybe it’ll get fixed.

I here “nice truck” everyday from people and I laugh inside..if only they knew!

Yeah that would make me mad as well. The Volvo's only have one issue that I am aware of and that is the #### clamps for EGR hoses.

it's a crying shame the troubles a once proud to own maker of "classy trucks" is nothing but crap nowadays.

i never put much stock into brand names over function to get the job done.

i could do the same work in a cheaper Freightshaker and not have any major issues, and get the paychecks every week.

gone are the days of quality, over profits, and down right bullying the factory workers with lay-offs if the profits drop.

todays factory workers are not yester-years workers who actually took pride in thier work.

todays workers only want that paycheck, and could give a flip about quality.

"it's the dealers problem(s), once it leaves the factory" attitudes.

I had a Volvo 670? that I was given brand new to drive..I only had 2 problems. One was a wire for the starter went bad and the other was a brake module? was cross threaded and eventually came loose. Luckily there was a shop close by and they got it fixed quick.

I hate dealership service departments. Personally I want to talk directly to the technician not a note taker.

Then you’re their prisoner because you can’t have the software to work on what you own.

I made it a point to get to know the manager at my local dealer. He knows me better than most big fleet owners. I am now put in front of most anyone that goes in and can talk to all of the tech or mech guys. It pays dividends to really push those relationships. It did help/hurt to be in the #### place a lot but in the end it made a lot of difference on service and also buying as well. Everyone seems to know me now up at the dealer. Ha Ha

So you sit for 2 or 3 days waiting on the 'warranty' work because they don't want 'your' business because they're getting paid almost nothing to do the work.
'Warranty' is a real cool deal until you understand what it means.
    Paacar and international are garbage

I'm having the same issues with my 567. It actually froze today on the 69 going into Indianapolis and I had to pull over on the shoulder and reset before I got onto the ramp for 465. I made sure to ask the dealer if the dash is all computerized without any analog gauges how much will it cost to fix if something goes wrong. He said not that much. He also says this is how the Peterbilts are being made now. I'm not a fan of digital dash displays and much rather analog ones.
