Paccar rumored to delete emissions because of parts shortages

As of today, no update available yet and now they’re saying maybe next week. Also, the guy flaked out when it came time to pull his def tank and sell his sensor to me. So I flew to Washington and I’m driving back a 379 that my friend bought. Been parked for about 7 years, wish me luck.

Anyone have any updates on part Q21-6170-001K1T Def quality sensor? Anyone hear about them coming in this week?

 

We have recieved some sensors this week of varying part numbers. Most are reserved or have been coming in for high level fleets or trucks that have been down for over a month.

If you have the part number listed below your post you could throw it on eBay for far more than I’m willing to pay.

 

If its the old part number and original to the truck its practically useless anyway. Its may be broken as soon as you plug it in since its off a deleted truck and hasnt even been in active use. If it does work your still on barrowed time.

None of the part numbers are available for immediate order. Most estimated ship dates on current orders are around the end of October

 

How do they expect somebody to run a business that way. These emission systems are too constrictive. If they cant fix it, they should have to pay your down time after a set interval. Anything over 1 week, start paying. Manufacturers AND GOVERNMENT for legislating this crap.
Unbelievable. I feel for O/O's that are stuck in the middle of this s%^€storm.
