They will probably use Smartlinq or TruckTech+ to make sure you come in for the recall once the sensors aren’t in short supply.

Ooooooh, let me grab my popcorn. This is gonna be so much fun.

It's the tree-huggers that are the problem, not a matter of left vs. right.

Good they are working with the feds but California/CARB may not go for it, they are independent from the epa and I just don’t seeing them saying “sure … have at it”.

It's not, pre 16 didn't have UQS sensor and relied on nox sensor readings to determine DEF quality. The UQS was supposed to help rely less on Nox sensors. PM sensor was also added in 16. It's sole purpose is to detect a DPF that is breached. They are prone to false readings due to there operating environment and temperature that they run @. If you are all worried about emissions that bad, wait til parts are available if yours go down or put the parts back on you took off.

I’m so glad I deleted my truck. It has been running great now with no issues. Gives me a much better feeling than the one I had knowing I was “protecting the environment.”

I have a friend in Kentucky with a Kenworth W900 C15 Cat that just blew a head gasket. The local dealer told him at least 2 weeks till the could get the parts in. Pre emissions isn’t everything. We’re turning into a third world country.

That was brought very clear to me last night at our local Walmart. I Mexican family was out in the parking lot and he was playing a violin while his wife took in the handouts. Straight out of Mexico. USA isn’t gonna be any better than where they came from here real soon.

I’m not worried about it, but if I made those changes for any reason it would be illegal…,…

what’s good for me is good for the corporation’s…. Remember they are people too and have the same rights as a person…..

If you made those changes and got EPA approval it would be legal. Kind of like like waiving HOS regulations during times of emergency.
