Is there any proof that they’re not meeting emission standards without the sensors? They made them run fine without them before.

I've seen my fair share of them. No matter where you go, there will always be tree huggers, even in places you wouldn't expect.

But anyways, we're getting off topic here.

probably void the warranty on the truck. That’s what they were threatening my company with when we had an open recall on the transmissions. I ran a time sensitive dedicated lane and the only downtime was weekends which the dealer around wasn’t open for.

The emissions on a 2010 vs a 2022 are exactly the same. The difference is the requirements for HD OBD. PM sensor and UQS sensor were added for OBD, emissions output is the same. A functioning UQS is quicker to identity bad DEF vs Nox sensor readings.

Too bad the geniuses can’t keep the sensors in stock… or keep them from prematurely failing…….

they suck…. Period. Paccar Freightliner all of them……

I shouldn’t have to rebuild a new truck just so it will run…….

Paccar, Freightliner, Cummins.... make neither sensor. Sourced from another manufacturer. Rebuild? Explain....
Shutting down the country has a lot to due with the current problems.

That’s a problem to they don’t make trucks they just assemble them. Guess they probably went with the lowest bidder to make that sensor in like Singapore maybe……….just in time bits us in the ###-

Rebuilt meaning that they do everything the cheap way and it takes years to re-engineer the truck to my standards…..

One example…..They ask why would you want a braided steel line off the compressor….? Who cares that’s what I want so I put it on myself after the fact. I have a long list of stuff like that and engine stuff too…..

And the truck was ordered by me… all they say is you can’t get this or that etc…..

Getting to bottom of your pi$$ed offness, ordering new truck blues! Thought you just in dumps with passing of Stones drummer.
Watch the T800, they are building certain ones in Mexico. Just buy you a 90's hood and rehab it. You will be happier!
