Paccar TX12 Noise

Hey guys. I haven't worked on any of these, but an old customer has one with a noise in all even gears. Any thoughts or ideas I can pass along?

So he took that info to the dealer. Dealer test drives and says they can't hear it, no codes, run it.

He gets ahold of Paccar CS and suddenly they have found that this race spinning has ruined the case and bell housing, and is the cause of his noise.

They quoted him parts (new trans and bell housing) and labor at 25k$!

Not sure what he'll do from here, but thought I'd update.
