Hello everyone.
I have a strange story to share.
Basically I'm purchasing a used Mack with fairly low miles from Paccar Used Trucks in SLC.
It only has a couple months of the original factory warranty left on it and they gave me a really expensive quote for that NTP insurance which judging by what I've read on the forums here is a horrible idea.
It makes me nervous buying used equipment with basically a couple months of warranty left but the price was right and it seems like a solid tractor.
Would you take the couple months left on the factory warranty and just roll the dice if you thought it was a decent tractor for the right price?
Would you waste 6K on probably useless aftermarket insurance through NTP?
I've heard at least a few good things about NTP but mostly bad.
Thank you!

Have you had a mechanic look at it, and not from where you are buying
Edjahman Thanks this. -
Yeah absolutely. -
I purchased this Warranty from Arrow truck sales in Atlanta. They would never tell me how much it was. I found out after I signed the paperwork 11,700. I fell like an idiot for getting something that’s not covering anything. Save your money and stay away from them!
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Why would you sign without knowing the cost? That's just begging to get bent over
