Next month I am heading to Georgia from Texas for training. At the least I'd be gone for 3 weeks at training, but could be gone for as long as well over a month.

I wanted to get an idea of what you guys pack for being gone for so long. I'm going to have a wal-mart about 2 miles away from the hotel I'll be at, so that helps a bit.

Who are you going with? Will you be going out with a trainer for some road training? If so, how long? Will the co be providing meals while at orientation? Are you going on the greydog to Georgia?

    All things to consider.

30 pairs of underwear and socks!?

    :biggrin_2559: Just teasing, that's a good list!

On second thought, I can make 1 pair last 4 weeks, so I take it back...

    What, no condoms?

It is good to bring your resume, mvr and DAC if you have it. Will make life a lot easier. I would bring one set of nice clothes because you will most likely have a one on one interview during orientation. Try to pack as light as you can though. Especially when going with a trainer. You aren't going to South America so if you forget anything you can get it at WallyWorld!

there's always a supply of perfectly good used condoms on the ground at the truck stops, rest areas, provided one adhere's to the "5 second rule".....:biggrin_25523:
