Was wondering what all you guys carry in the cab that is a must? Especially for flatbed drivers. The obvious things to me are as goes but I'm sure I am missing a bunch of stuff
- Hardhat
- Gloves
- Reflective Jacket
- Flashlight ( I like my headlamp)
- Rain jacket
- Extra pens ( Odd maybe for some of you, but I'm always looking for a pen seems like)
- Snacks cause I like to eat haha
- Extra clothes
Flatbed drivers:
- Extra straps
- Dunnage
- Chains
- Binders
- Tarps
- Flags if oversize
What would you guys add to the list?
Packing list for new drivers to keep on their trucks?

I carry a set of socket wrenches. It has saved me twice now. I also recommend a 2 LB sledge hammer. It makes a great tire thumper and if you ever high hook a trailer you can use it to hold the 5th wheel just right to pull out and for Dryvan drivers when the tandem locking bar wont stay out it holds it out perfectly.
