Paid CDL Training & signing up for Local Route? No OTR?

I drove a box truck for a contractor who did work for Rexel/Gexpro out of Duluth off of Satellite Blvd. I left for a great gig at a grocery chain which got me my class A and sure enough not too long after I left they went and got all their own box trucks and stakebed trucks paying $18 an hour no CDL required. Maybe check em out. Furthest their drivers go out is Greenville, SC last time I was there

Its giving me a lot to consider and think over...
I have a few interviews lined up next week on various other options, and I'm under orders from the girlfriend to take the car on her day off next week (she lives with me, has given me a lot of great support) and go drive around and check out a few local businesses with hiring signs and stop at the unemployment office... actually I think she intends to take me there herself! lol
