Paid CDL Training & signing up for Local Route? No OTR?

I drove a box truck for a contractor who did work for Rexel/Gexpro out of Duluth off of Satellite Blvd. I left for a great gig at a grocery chain which got me my class A and sure enough not too long after I left they went and got all their own box trucks and stakebed trucks paying $18 an hour no CDL required. Maybe check em out. Furthest their drivers go out is Greenville, SC last time I was there
