Palmentere brothers

I am going to say this about the Real Palmentere Brothers.
The Company Is in bankruptcy chapter 7 and is runing under thunderbird trucking out of Kansas City Mo. Joe Palmentere is a real low life and I mean real low life to where he actually calls the drivers up and uses fowel language at them. My Husband was driving for Joe. I would go out with my Husband to help him on the truck . Every time Joe called my husband I would place the phone on speaker before handing it to him and he was really bad langauged to him. My Husband and I started notcing that the office people were leaving after they too had to guess their pay day if any because they themselfs weren't getting PAID. Joe don't tell new hires that you are paid when it's pay day on comdata . Comdata is done by Vicki his wife which you can NEVER speak to . The Factoring company factors all his bills which is now being held up by the chaper 7 bankruptcy as they to were served notice. He has International trucks 2012 that he hasn't made payments on in months and international as well as kenworth is after those trucks and the bank is after the trailers he had fianced. My Husband's last load was pure 100% hell. We did the ice load and sat for 8 days waiting to get it unloaded. Well on Friday night we had called them because the ac unit went out for the apu and their was No way to overide the truck peroid. Anyway we sat all weekened and came monday moring he was dispatched. As he started to go pick up the new load he had a stroke. I called the company and told them what happened to don. Anyway Joe called the next morning screaming at don that he didn't give a f^%$ get his F$%^&*( truck off the exit ramp and he didn't give a F%$# how he got it done. Well we sat their because My Husband just couldn't move the truck from the exit ramp as that's where he safely got it to from where the hospital was because the hospital didn't want it in their parking lot and he was trying to get it back to the truck stop himself. Anyway the deputy sheriff seen that my husband was sick and due to no apu unit working he took us to the truck stop in the squad car until my husband's son which is my step son and his wife could come get as they were driving from florida to lousianna where we were. Joe got his truck delievered to the truck stop as another driver helped my step son and and myself take it back their. The driver even said that what kind of cold hearted person is joe why didn't he fly a driver down after this to come move it. The driver himself that helped us get it back their stood their and said that to me that Joe is awful and he desrves everything he gets for doing this to him. This drivers is just one of the many ways Joe treats his drivers. He don't give a crap about no one but himself. Why is it that he has nearly lost the entire office and shop people? Why is it that drivers that DOT shut down his unethical issues as palmentere brothers? Why drivers? Do you wanna guess your Pay day Like Don did? Do You wanna run out of fuel because their's no money to fuel with? Ask youselfs drivers is it worth your sanity to work at a company that don't care about you? Ask yourself's drivers if you break down would you want to have your company pay for a hotel and not you because their credit card is bad? Ask yourself these things and if you would say No to this then You would NOT go to work for palmentere Brothers/ Thunderbird out of Kansas city Mo. PLEASE DRIVERS DON'T GO.. JOE OWES DON CLOSE TO 1,00.00 IN UNPAID TRIPS DO YOU WANT TO BE A VICTIM?

 

Insurance canceled as of 10/24. They are closed.

 

That's interesting because last I knew he was being his normal self being hateful and calling the brokers up screaming at them to give him com check codes for loads.

 

Old habits die hard, apparently.....

 

That's very sad that he wasn't paying no body and expected that the company would climb out and it never did. I wonder how anyone's going to get their papers to do their taxes this year with him closed. Supposed ly a message was sent out telling drivers their closed. This is horrible. And I wonder what happened to the shop people and all the dispatchers other than laid off I wonder how long they knew it before drivers did

 

After working there over 2 yr I left the company this past August and man this is really no shocker. We had begin to have issues getting fuel money. They were messing w/ our pay.
