You can try Prime, they will train you. I was laid off and got lucky and had unemployment (WIA) pay for me to go back to school but it was $4300. If I had to do it again I would definitely go through another training program.

Where are their main routes? And who do they do school thru? Again, Im strapped for cash lol.

Routes I imagine are 48 states and canada, not sure about regional, tanker starting out, your out 2-3 weeks with 2-3 days hometime at least thats what the recruiter told me.Ndittmer08 Thanks this. -

I believe you will have to sign a 1 year contract if you use them for your school training. -
So, what I am hearing and please feel free to correct, is I have to call the company I wish to drive for for my CDL schooling. Then when they put me thru school, and after I graduate (heaven forbid I don't), I'll drive for them for a agreed amount of time? And whats funny, is that is what PAM agents told me. Im just being very thorough. I do not want to get into something that will bite me in the ###. The main purpose for me to do this, isn't for me. It is for my child, to see her future grow. To support her financially. With DQ, a burger joint, I cannot do this. I only gross $700 a month there. Can I make more than this trucking? And with any of the said companies?
