I read through most if the PAM posts but cant find what I'm looking for. I've heard the extremely good and extremely bad but what I really want to know is what to expect from them in day to day business.

For example: When I worked as a photographers assistant I had no idea I'd be up all night after shoots editing the pictures for tomorrow.

I had no idea that audio recording industry shifts are measured in days instead of hours.

I enjoyed both of these fields but I would have had an easier time if I knew what to expect before starting.

Please PAM drivers, tell me the "bad" things that are bound to happen over and over again so I wont be caught off guard.

    Thanks in advance!

PS: This is slightly off topic but I've been reading a lot of new driver stories. I found the most important thing to do is to always have spare cash because there's a high chance companies will jerk newibes around for days. Are there any other "musts" that apply to all companies?
