One of the worst companies I've seen in my 24 years out here. They put two guys in a truck with 2400 pcs 17 stops on a 36 hour run, that's if you do not stop and pay you literally pennies for it... They have been through 300 + drivers in less than a year... They are Papa Johns, but the company running the logistics is Team One out of Ga, WDS/UPS. I know of a driver that went to DOT and complained, DOT told this driver that he needed 6 months proof and that more people had to complain before they did anything... This company really needs to be investigated before they end up killing someone out here on the road...

Cardineal(sp) took over the Pittsburgh warehouse. Heard it has gotten worse there. -
I tried the PJ thing last fall in Pittsburgh with Cardinal. They team you up with another driver and you make around 15 stops in anywhere from 20 to 36 hours (depending where you were going) then have the next day off. It is alot of work toting around a dolly that has like 300 pounds of product on it. When I tried this job last year they serviced MD western PA, OH, and northern VA and MI. The Michigan stores took like 36 hours to complete.

Do you get free pizza working for them?
Just asking...
Truckinchic Thanks this. -
When you are off duty, you get % off at the store. -
I would like to hear from anyone who was or is a driver servicing Papa John's. I'm a former WDS driver out of Rotterdam, NY before they moved it to Cranbury NJ. Have worked out of Orlando for TPL (in-house) for 4 years. I'm no longer with the company, but I have been to the authorities with my concerns, mostly due to hours of service. Yes, someone is going to get killed, whether it's one of them or one the innocent motorists on the highways.
My concerns will carry a lot more merit if other drivers have the same stories.
Drop me a PM if you can. Thanks.Last edited: Sep 29, 2010

I saw one delivering in NJ the other day, looked like a pup backed up to the front door unloading in broad daylight, while customers were entering and leaving the store. Not only was he was backed up at a 45 degree angle blocking a bunch of parked 4 wheelers, no one could enter or exit the parking lot as well.
