A month or so ago there was a thread on flagging stops under 8 minutes. I can not find it, and oddly the fmcsa greenie is vague. Can someone direct me to that thread?
    Thanks!

Not sure exactly which thread (it's a popular topic), so here is the Guidance from 395.8:

Question 1: How should a change of duty status for a short period of time be shown on the driver’s record of duty status?

Guidance: Short periods of time (less than 15 minutes) may be identified by drawing a line from the appropriate on-duty (not driving) or driving line to the remarks section and entering the amount of time, such as “6 minutes,” and the geographic location of the duty status change.

I hear ya but I am just running paper while I am being "trained" by my new company. So I want them to look as good as possible. Trust me I am saving up so one day I can toss that computer out the window.
    Thanks guys!

If I have several drops in the same county, I just combine on duty and combine driving, draw a line down with city or county name and "del,1,2,3..." Then back to driving to next town.
If I have to wait 30 mins for a dock, thats my 30 min break. Have done it that way for yrs and the DOT seem to be fine with it. Even looks better with a matching delivery log or arrival departure times on the bol's.

Years ago, before all the added bs, it was acceptable to just log multi drops as on duty not driving.

I don't bother logging non driving rime if it's less than half hour. You just complicate the #### out of your life.
