Parking at a different company's terminal?

    What are the odds that there are companies out there with secure terminals/yards that would let an outside carrier driver use/rent a spot at their terminal/yard while said driver is on home time?

    I live in east texas, and there's not really any secure place to park a truck (outside of the greater D/FW area), so I spent 4 years parking one at the Pilot close to my house with no issues, but I'm wondering if places like Swift or FFE/KLLM (I use those places for example because I know where their terminals are in Lancaster) would allow an outsider to park there during home time or not. Knowing my luck, probably not lol.

    You can always call... The megas won't, but there could be a fair few small companies that will be willing to. Another place to look is construction companies.

    I don’t consider my own yard safe after watching my coworkers do their thing. I park in the back away from the rif raf.

    Our company uses this place and it’s well worth the money. No homeless wandering around and you can drop a trailer and go without concern. I wish they were in more areas.
