There's nothing here and I pick up Friday morning. There's a nasty little Peelot NW of town, but I'm better off staying where I am for now.
Any suggestions?

Where in Charleston are you..coming in on I-26 or coming in on hwy 52 from Goose Creek or coming in on hwy 17 from Mt Pleasant , Or hwy 17 from John's Island.....? If you are coming in from I-26 then there is a rest-area just out-side of town near Ladson about 7 miles maybe 8. If you came in from Goose Creek there are shopping centers all along there for you to park in..most of them have a grocery store or a Super market close by , as well as the usual fast food places.

Just make sure she uses the soft brush and not the one by the toliet when cleaning you down. Also make sure she gets all the cracks and cranies clean as well. Then when drilling use your "wet weather gear" lol
MJ1657 Thanks this. -

Used to use the tank wash near this fuel stop. Only one that I know of in Charleston, SC.
Has limited parking so must get in there early in day. Good chicken!

It costs $5 bucks a night to park there, I've never had any problems, nice Chinese take out across the street by the grocery store.

Theres a Walmart in North Charleston (store #3367, right off I526) that will let you park. (I don't know if it's explicitly allowed, but there are non-walmart trucks parked every night)
Plenty of food options near by, too.
