Parking in Kansas City

Best ive found is to plan on parking some distance away... Higginsville... St. Jo... Kansas turnpike... Ect... there is a smallish PFJ on the 435 (northeast side of KC) that I have been able to find parking at as late as 9pm... But usually opt for staying a ways out of town.

 

Theres a casino at kansas speedway and hollywood casino, u park on the side of the road there i think its virginia street or something like that.. The hotel shuttle comes by every 20 minutes or so and will take ya up to the hotel if ya want somethin to eat or wanna spend a night

 

Theres also a bass pro shop or maybe cabelas, they have truck parking there and a couple good resturants near by..

 

Yup, so I reneged on my word earlier...tell me why I done reserved me a spot over here at this crackhead Flying J?? (Well, the reason is that my first consignee is barely two miles down the road, but still...)

I completely forgot about the Isle of Capri Casino over off 35, wasn't aware of the other two casinos, but i will bookmark those should I have to overnight thru here again. Thanks for the heads-up on that.

 

The Ameristar is about 2 miles from that J.

 

There's a couple in Harrisonville, MO, a Sapp brothers and a loves as I recall, been awhile since I've been down that way but they're a little ways out yet.
