Parking in rest areas and welcome centers?

i just repainted the yellow lines in our lot.every morning about halfway back you have one guy over the line,then everyone else has to pull up a little farther.it's like they all want to see who's coming in.those yellow lines are for the truck to stay parked behind,they must not teach that in the schools.

 

Two errors here: First of all, YOU aren't the good buddy, HE is.

Second, thats not why it's called a pickle park. It's called that because there used to be a state law in california that it was illegal to sell pickles at rest areas.

 

Wal-Mart sells liquor as long as the law allows it.

 

Depends on how tried and what your company says. If I'm tired I park where ever I can. But with these solar powered drivers to get into a T/S you gotta get there early!! Don't know what happened to running at night with less traffic. But guess they are scared!!!

 

That explains why the one in my town doesnt, and the meijer across the street does.

It is up to the state to issue licenses for the sale of liquor. Some states have very limited amount of licenses allowed. Some states have totally draconian laws about liquor sales.

It well may be that your state won't allow the Wallyworld to sell booze because the place across the street does.

No, it doesn't make any sense. But what would you expect, IT'S THE GOVERNMENT IN ACTION.

 

yeah.. i had a streak of that going there for awhile.. thats when i started to nose in near the back... and try and point the front of the truck to the curb.. so the trailer is straight but the truck is on an angel.. depending on how big the lot/parking spaces are.. etc etc.. cuz i got sick of buying duct tape to fix my mirrors

 

The ones in Virginia where I live don't because all liquor sales are done thru state stores. When I'm at the Prime terminal in Springfield, MO and go to the Wal-Mart down the road from the terminal, they have an entire aisle with nothing but liquor in it. A lot of Wal-Marts also have liquor in the one check out aisle you have to go in to get cigs.

Liqour is...readily available everywhere except walmart here. Weird.
