I'm not a fan of Jubitz, but if you have an AM delivery in town it's the best place to stay to avoid the worst of the traffic. The movies are cheap but they usually suck, and the food in the diner is kind of meh. But it works in a pinch. I always come into Portland from the south and stay just south of town in Aurora at the Pilot/FJ or TA.

 

Thursday's and Fridays are the heavier shipping days for reefers.

It being summer, more produce is consumed locally to where it's grown. So the orders for apples, onions, pears, potatos are slow. Harvest is also not til October I think for apples. They can store them for up to 2 years but try to have them all cleared out in 1. Onions are harvested in June-july I think.
