Hey Truckers! I am a recent graduate and I am currently on parole. I've been having trouble with the major companies because of that one hang up, the charge is not the problem. I am in the Dallas,Tx. area and my hometown is Little Rock,Ar. if anyone has any tips or suggestions on smaller trucking companies in those two areas that will hire parolees, it would be greatly appreciated!!!![]()

oilfields down there might be your best bet.
-
The oil fields are always looking for drivers
-
I'm with the other 2 members, oilfields for now.Companies won't hire you because there's no guarantee they can get you home every month to see your parole officer.Besides don't you have to stay in your state till you're off parole or get permission from your officer to leave the state?
-
Call your parole officer and make sure this job won't violate your parole. Most likely it will.
-
Texas is large enough there are some companies that never leave the state. Can't think of the name of any, but I have talked to a couple of drivers that drive for them.
Head over to the Flying J on the 20 in Lancaster and ask around -
These companies hire felons/parolees.
Submit an online application and see who calls back.
