I got sidelined in Jan 2012 I fought cancer in 09 with a neck dissection and radiation and the whole nine yards,I healed up and went back to pulling a set for a contractor at Fed-Ex Ground in Houston I know what folks think but it was a steady job doing the same old thing and got me off the road and around the house for a change,But even though they yanked my voicebox and gave me a cute little hole in my goozle I can talk and its not with a Mr Microphone I am went back and pulled for a year but being on disability is a needed thing because of the medicaire insurance but I can still make alittle money per month a certain amount in the year and I wouldnt mind trying to help a O/O or somebody out I know its a reach in this crazy world but I can visit on the phone, text or e-mail Social Security is strapping my legs for working that full year and making way over their limit but I can still work with my reset and am going stir crazy I have logged over 2 million accident and ticket free miles last 10 with that contractor and he thought enough of me to hold my truck for 15 months he's got a few of them and we fell out when he thought me driving it was more important than my cancer screenings,so we decided it best to part company,I can still make a trip and drive em like I own em I have driven some very expensive and nice equipment and cant stand hands who wont or dont keep their stuff safe I didnt say I hadnt run more than one book before but you can still drive decent equipment even if you gotta fudge alittle every now and then!Anybody knows of anybody who has a need I live along the hwy 59 - Trans Texas Corridor in the Livingston Tx area Thanks for letting me drop a word on yall!

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
