Did anyone contact you to negotiate new rates for next year?
Again, the rates are going down if you want to keep a customer/s.
Brokers are negotiating new rates for the new year.

In the past TQL was 50/50. It was great and other times bad.
I didn't haul anything for them the last two years.

I’ve actually had a great experience with TQL. I avoided them for years, and finally on a fluke got a call from this one particular broker. This guy is top notch, everything I’ve ever asked for as far a detention and whatnot have been paid in full, great rates also. I should add that this particular broker only deals with “specialty loads” that are not your standard run of the mill loads. We do at least a couple loads a month from this guy.
The only issue I’ve had with them is once you start dealing with them you get into the system and every knucklehead broker they have will start calling you. I finally got my broker’s cell number and we communicate on that number or email, that way I can just ignore any other calls from Loveland, OH.

Wages and fixed incomes are always the last thing to go up during an inflationary cycle. The big banks and the government's suppliers are always the first to receive the new money and they receive it before prices rise. Debtors also benefit from inflation because the money they pay back is worth less than the money they borrowed. And of course, inflation is a direct tax on cash savings.
