My opinion is to stay away from PTL. There equipment is very bad. When I was there for 5 months I never got a green light at a scale house. BEWARE!!!
So my husband is with PTL hes a newbie & just started a little over 2 weeks ago as he just recently got out of school for the CDL's, I was wondering when he's out there how long does he have to drive with a trainer before I can be able to go out with him?
It looks like they have 2 phases of training. The first phase is 5000miles with a trainer which should last roughly 2 weeks. The second phase is 40k miles w/ a team driver and that is roughly 8 weeks. So I would plan for (give or take) about 3 months. I just received a pre-hire w/ PTL and will be attending orientation after the new year.
The lady had a question and she received an answer. Who cares if its an old thread.. Thats what this thread is for. Its title is PTL comments and reviews...
Resurrecting old threads causes it to bump to the top. In doing so people just looking for recent information may read it from page one without checking the dates of posts. This causes misinformation, and confusion.
