Ptl ain't running nothing on the east coast. Best bet would be choices Chinatown mentioned first. Some of those places are strict so next best would be swift, us xpress, schneider werner in no particular order. (All pay about the same)
Depending on where you live they may have a dedicated position to get you home weekly or biweekly
Keep in mind. Your school will push you to do otr when you graduate but if you want to make good money out of school think dedicated otr to get some miles under your belt or work for a supplier ie Tyson foods. Most otr loads are brokered meaning there's a middleman eating off of your work.

cdl schools usually last 1 month. why it's 1 year puzzles me, but i 2nd @PayCheck. had i known about working with a company that'll hire you with / without a permit & pay u to train, i would've done so. [example: Southeastern Freight]. u should look for local companies that'll hire cdl permit holders. u may have to work long & crazy hours, but @ least u shouldn't be obligated to work for them. look @ it as free experience & having an option to not be under obligation. i'd ask if i'd have to work for an affiliated company after completion, which may be what u'll have to do & why u won't have to pay

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahaha ....
What, you got a criminal history? A DUI? Member of the Communist party? What's your problem???!!!
Well, if you screwed up so bad that you gotta work for PTL then say 10 "Hail Mary's" for penance and count yer blessings - at least you got a job. -
their website sure tells a different story. Was thinking about it . got a response from them and they said that my 6 months of regional satisfies their otr requirement . HMMM ..... I have nothing bad of course to say since I do not know but I like it when I read some good stuff and not all bad stuff.

Well it's your choice of course, but just remember there's a reason why their website is going to tell a different story.... They can't stay in business without drivers
And there's also a reason why you have read the negative things -
as i understand it they are employee owned . that means a lot of it owned by drivers i would guess but maybe not . if so you would think they would be more likely to want other drivers treated well . perhaps they do not own enough to have any say so in anything,
i saw a couple of their trucks and they looked pretty nice. -
Let's recall the sinister meaning of "paschal". It come from an old myth where the "believer" would kill an animal and smear the corpse's blood on the front door in order to ward off the murderous angel that was slaughtering the children of the villagers.
Sounds like a bad omen if you ask me.markk Thanks this. -
Paschall, the truck lines, has 2 L's.

Doesn't fool anyone. It is still the word meaning, "pass over".Chinatown Thanks this.

can u clarify that please? maybe that's why the recruiter girl told me u're going to read more bad than good since people don't take time to tell good things like the do bad. was she on to something??
that's definitely a myth, & 1 that's unbelievable. i've never heard of an angel being murderous. im almost tempted now to start talking to random drivers & ask their input. i was told in school most drivers are willing to talk if u catch them @ a stop since they don't have much talking time driving
