Sounds like you missed out on the best part. In California they use organic lube and biodegradable surgical gloves.

You're learning, right? And you're getting paid while you're learning?
If things were too easy you might not learn enough to get you through the bad times.

Find somewhere that's not piss soaked (I know very hard to find) and spend 1-2 hours on a 10 or 34 and really get a good look at her. Make notes take pics do whatever you have to do so you can know you'll pass

I do that when I’m at the terminal and can go under the trench. But as an example of a new guy situation, I got put OOS in Georgia for inner wheel seal leak. So I am being extra careful. Now today I find this. I called it in unsure and just paranoid. What would you do?

It wasn’t raining or anything and all the other wheels are dry

The best part is now you don't have to be careful anymore! ;-)

I would get on the ground and inspect it. See if it’s oil, find its source. It looks like it could be a wheel seal or maybe not. If it was leaking and your in a company truck, it needs to be fixed.

Well. You could clean it with brake cleaner and a rag and keep a close eye on it. If it is a seal, you don’t want it running dry in there either.

    Lepton1 and Jwhis Thank this.
