Is there a way to get the passenger seat in a peterbilt 389 (with sleeper) to tilt further back than the allotted tilt? Plenty of room behind back rest so one would think You could.

anything is possible with a welder.
Pawn shops sell them cheap. Maybe stolen... -
Take that bolt out and you’ll get approximately a half inch more of recline.

I know it’s an old one, but I got National seats in my 389 and it’s very close to the steering wheel for me. Now I searched and found SITSOLO base adapter plate that allows to move it back further, but what with recline it more, I am going to try to remove that bolt, but if any other way available, I would try it as well.

Removed that bolt and it does recline some more, not much, but still works. Now waiting for that base adapter plate.
