Will a 20 year old felony conviction show up on a DAC report?
Also, how negative would that be to a perspective employer?
Thanks, Jim

a felony is easier to work around than a DUI! especially a 20 yr old one

Yes your a fellon, this part of the price you pay. You can goto court and get your rights restored , but it still will be there.
-
DAC reports show past employment history , not criminal records . A potential employer may do a background check and most applications ask if you have ever been convicted of a felony .
-
Any potential employ is required to run a back ground check to include criminal. it will show up. They are required by Federal law to do this. You would be best off to be up front about it and find a company that will work with this. Some will and some won't.
-
As part of DAC/USIS services, the report can include any past criminal record if requested by a employer.

Yes jimbo46 your 20 year felony will show up that is part of the service they do for trucking companies. It being that old shouldnt be a problem with some trucking companies. The economy has changed all that because trucking companies can be picky nowadays. Jimbo46 dont be discouraged though, look at a few companies that accept people with felonies and give them a call. It will give you a feel for whats out there. Call a few and talk to the recruiters and be up front about it. I hope it works out for you Jimbo46
