I'll tell u this. McElroy has one STRICT "weeding out" process they use before you are hired. I don't know what qualifications they use, but I have seen quite a few let go for what seemed like minor issues. It's not like McElroy doesn't need drivers. When I went to Cuba,AL there were over 50 trucks waiting for a wheelman. They do have their own internal issues, but overall is an OK company to work for.

I have never worked for a company that would have you haul a load somewhere and then not pay you for the load.Path Truck Lines made a mistake on their end and sent me to my destination at a wrong appointment time so I had to haul it back. They refused to pay me even tho it was their mistake...
Along with that they promise detention pay and then won't pay that. I wouldn't send anyone to them.:smt011 -
oh yea if you happen to work for them i'm sorry ,,,and did you know that the recruiters are paid to lie {quoted from one of them} the dm is a so called woman just one step short of shaving ,,,basically the owner calls the shots, he likes to play golf so what does that tell ya,, BUT he has been a driver{yea right },,,they will screw you on miles ,cell phone bills, etc try it then let me know ,,,
