patially a newbie need some help with the wia program

    hi all glad to be writing here on the forum i say im partially a newbie because i have had my class b cdl for around 15 years and finally decide to get my class a with all the endorsements anyways i have not decided who im going to go with as far as a job but i see all the training pay for the jobs are low and yes i expected this but my question i guess is 2 part 1 is once im done with schooling and accept a job will wia still pay me unemployment while im doing on the job training and 2nd not looking for someone to tell me where to go work but what are some good companies to look into that are in illinois and if you want put some bad one out there for me anyways thanks for reading and look forward to hearing some replies to my post and happy thanksgiving sincerely tim morgason aka morgieman :biggrin_25511:

    I would assume that WIA will stop paying you once you report to them that you have a job.

    This would be a question for your caseworker I would think.

    thanks yea i was going to call her today but se is gone i was just wondering because a werner driver came to are school he graduated in august and we asked him how he made it on 350 a week and he said he was able to draw his unemployment and im not even thinking of going to work for werner but he was there and we asked him anyways thanks for the reply morgieman
