pulled into the Denver Pilot.
Guy next to me. Bobtail. he had unhooked from the trailer next to him. Taking up two parking spots.
When I backed in, he offered some help.
I simply told him to hook up to his trailer and quit being a jerk hogging parking spots.

I agree with you, Autocar. The only point I was making about ATL Petro was that it makes money off EVERY truck that comes in, through one way or another. Perhaps what TA could do is offer those reserved places also available to truckers that have that platinum status or whatever it is - for buying X number of gallons in a year. Not sure how that works. I am not loyal to any truck stop chain. If people are so fired up over this, they should once again use the small independents of the country. If we don't, how long before we only have the option of PFJ, TA/Petro, Loves? Then we will really be at their mercy.

Saw these spots last night in Morris, IL, TA, one truck was parked there this morning. I think it was a total of 5 spots, right by the fuel island.

You can call and reserve a spot ahead of time and apply the charges to a credit card OR you can show up and if there is no free parking available then purchase a paid for spot.Autocar Thanks this. -
BTW, yesterday the Kenly Petro had a chicken fried special, as breakfast with eggs, or as dinner with one side, for a flat five dollars. It wasn't bad at all. I even sprung for a piece of carrot cake, brought my total bill, with coffee to a shade over $10. -
