Im in CDL school and my teacher thinks very highly of Maverick. He says they pay well. A recruiter may come talk to us, but I wanted to know what the avg pay per mile is in the flatbed division. I've hear .30-.40 cents per mile and I've heard higher than that. I also live in SE TN if that helps.

BTW, only reason I'm asking here and not the company is well, you know recruiters CAN lie

As a brand new driver starting out in the US Regional Division or Regional Atlantic (RAT) division, you start out at .33/mile for first 3 months, then raised to .36/mile. At 6 months raised to .38/mile (I think it was), then at one year raised to .42/mile. You are also paid $25 per tarp job on each tarped load. Other companies may have a reputation to which you refer, but you will not get that from the Maverick recruiters. Call and talk to Mason. I guarantee you that he will tell you like it is.

ok thanks, Im glad to hear some company out there believes in telling the truth. .33 is not bad, US Xpress pays that, but it takes UP TO 6 months to get there for solos. This company is sounding better and better

That was correct except you go to .42 at 6 months and .43 at 1 year from what I was told
